Discover a unique experience in the France with our Loire Valley Castle Tour from Paris. On this tour, you can visit three of the largest castles in the Loire: Chenonceau, Chambord and Cheverny, all accompanied by our guide.
We will start by boarding a comfortable air-conditioned coach that will take us to Chambord, the largest castle in the Loire Valley. From the moment you approach the castle, you'll be impressed by its majesty and imposing architecture. You can quickly access the interior thanks to priority access, and our guide will take you through some of the rooms of the castle, including the famous “double revolution staircase”, to reach the large panoramic terrace. From there, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the park while our guide shares with you the history of the castle, which was built during the reign of Francis I with the participation of Leonardo da Vinci in the 16th century.
After your visit to Chambord, you will continue to Chenonceau, passing through magnificent landscapes and fields that stretch as far as the eye can see. During the trip, our guide will provide you with information about the sites you will see. Once there, you'll drive along a beautiful tree-lined path that offers a stunning view of the castle. Chenonceau is a sumptuous royal residence, nicknamed the “Ladies' Castle” because it was maintained and enriched by several female characters over the years. The building seems to emerge from the water, giving the castle a fairytale look.
You will enjoy a one-hour guided tour of Chenonceau Castle, during which our guide will tell you many stories and anecdotes about the castle and the female presence that attests to the French art of living. After the visit, you will have free time to stroll through the remarkable gardens along the Cher River and to have lunch around the castle.
After lunch, you will meet our guide at the coach park to leave for Cheverny. In this stately residence occupied by the same family for more than 600 years, you will discover the castle and its remarkable interior equipment. Outside, you will complete your visit with the park and its 6 theme gardens, including the “le Jardin Sucré” orchard. You can also see its rich kennel that houses a hundred dogs, since Cheverny is known for hunting with dogs.
The Loire Valley Castle Tour from Paris will end with the return by coach to Paris, where it will arrive around 8:00 p.m.
Please note that lunch is not included in the tour, but our guide will inform you of places where you can eat. It is also possible that the order of visiting the castles will change, with Chambord visited in the morning in summer.
