Experience an exceptional day in the heart of the Loire Valley in France! Get ready to discover three of the largest castles in the Loire: Chenonceau, Chambord and Cheverny through the commentary in our audio guide.
Hop aboard our comfortable air-conditioned coach and let's embark on the adventure to Chambord together. As we approach the castle, you will be surprised by the majesty of the building that stands before you. Its impressive architecture makes it the largest of the Loire castles! The self-guided tour will take you through some of the rooms of the castle and take the famous “double revolution staircase” to reach the large panoramic terrace. From there, you will enjoy a magnificent view of the park while listening to commentary on the history of the castle, built during the reign of Francis I with the participation of Leonardo da Vinci in the 16th century.
After this visit, we will leave for Chenonceau. We will cross magnificent landscapes of the Loire Valley and contemplate the fields as far as the eye can see as we drive along the Loire River, offering serenity to the journey. After walking along a magnificent tree-lined path, an incredible view of the castle will appear before your eyes. The building seems to emerge from the water, giving the castle a fairytale dimension. You will enjoy a one-hour guided tour of the Chenonceau Castle, during which you will see the furnished and flowery rooms, the tapestries and the period paintings. You will discover many stories and anecdotes about the castle and the importance of the female presence that attests to the French art of living. After the visit, you will have free time to stroll through the remarkable gardens along the Cher and have lunch around the castle.
After lunch, we will meet at the coach park to leave for Cheverny. In this stately residence, which has been occupied by the same family for more than 600 years, you will discover the castle and its remarkable interior equipment. Outside, you will complete your visit with the park and its six theme gardens, including the “le Jardin Sucré” orchard. You can also see its rich kennel that houses a hundred dogs! A truly unique experience!
The coach will leave at 5:00 p.m. for an expected arrival in Paris around 8:00 p.m. Please note that lunch is not included in the price of the tour, but you will have the opportunity to take it in the park of Chenonceau Castle. In addition, the order of visiting the castles may change (Chambord in the morning in summer). Don't wait any longer and come and live this unique experience in the heart of the Loire Valley!
