Exciting, charming and with hundreds of unmatched places, this is Tenerife. To discover all its attractions we will take a complete and entertaining Tenerife island tour. We will tour it from the north to the south, to explore its magic and the most traditional Canarian customs.
In the established pick-up area, you will be waiting for the comfortable air-conditioned bus that will take us throughout the tour. We will go up and take a route towards the Villa of Candelaria, when we arrive, we will have our first stop to admire the beautiful Basilica of Nuestra Señora de Candelaria (patron saint of the Canary Islands), this was the first Marian temple of the whole Canarian archipelago, and today it remains a very important religious symbol for the region.
Continuing with our return to Tenerife, we will stop very close to the coast to admire the majestic bronze statues of the Kings of Guanche, also known as “Menceyes”, throughout the tour we will have the company of an expert guide, who will tell us the fascinating legends behind each monument and place of interest.
It is time to head north, to explore the Historic and Artistic Quarter of the cultural La Orotava village, we will take a walk through its cobbled streets, to delve into its history and enjoy the authentic beauty of the place. We will visit the Casa de los Balcones, an icon of La Orotava, cradle of embroidery and openwork of typical costumes originating from the Canary Islands.
We will meet again to travel to the summit, and stop at the renowned viewpoint of the Villa de Garachico, there we will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of this town, which had to be rebuilt after the volcanic eruption that partially destroyed it in 1706.
Finally, we will visit Masca village, to delight ourselves with a beautiful example of rural architecture throughout the Canary Islands. Back, we will border the south of the island to close this adventure with a touch of gold, burdening with more unforgettable memories, while we find ourselves on the way with the magnificent landscapes that far away offers us: The Summit of Erjos, the Teide and the Cliffs of Los Gigantes.
