Come with us on this Ronda day trip from Malaga or Costa del Sol and visit one of the cities with the most history in southern Andalusia, admiring the beauty of its landscapes and walking around its picturesque little streets. We will visit the Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza (Bullring of the Maestranza) and as a final touch, we will finish the tour in a typical winery called Bodegas la Sangre de Ronda, tasting the best local wines.

After an easy bus ride from Malaga (1 hour and a half approx.) or Costa del Sol, we will arrive in the city of Ronda. Once there, you can enjoy a Ronda tour, visiting the most emblematic places of the city, such as the Puerta de Almocábar (Almocabar Gate), Iglesia del Espiritu Santo (Church of the Holy Spirit), the Town Hall Square, and Iglesia de Santa Maria la Mayor (Church of Santa Maria la Mayor).

We will continue the tour in the Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza (Bullring of the Maestranza), one of the oldest in Spain and also home to some of the most important events in bullfighting history. It is considered the birthplace of traditional bullfights and also the home of the famous Corrida Goyesca (Goyaesque Bullfight), where the decoration and typical costumes will remind you of the prestigious painter Goya. There you can also visit the Bullfighting Museum.

Then, we will visit a traditional winery in the city, called Bodegas La Sangre de Ronda, now converted into a wine museum. You will also have the opportunity to taste delicious local wines.

After the Ronda tour, you will have free time to lunch and explore as many areas of the city as you want, before returning to Malaga/Costa del Sol.

On the way back, we will make a short stop of approximately 45 minutes in the city center of Marbella, so you can enjoy a short tour of this charming city and take some pictures.

Customer Reviews

"Ronda is a very nice Andalusian town"
That has a lot more to it then the stone bridge, and out tour guide (Daniel and Antonia) made sure we got in all the knowledge of the town. On our way back we also made a stop in Marbella to see Dali’s statues and a bit of the old town. Unfortunately we had a rainy day and the reason why I am not giving all my stars is because the bus we were in did not have a very good heating system and the driver had to keep the A/C very low, so the windshield would not be foggy...hence we froze. Before booking people seemed upset by the many stops they do but it isn’t so bac really.

"Buen servicio!!!"

"The guide on the coach was good."
The lady who led the walking tour of Ronda was enthusiastic and very informative but unfortunately received a number of phone calls at the Plaza de Toros. However she did point us to a street for a reasonably priced lunch. I would have preferred to spend longer in Ronda and do without the hour in Marbella. It was a very long day, taking 4 hours to get to Ronda from Malaga.
