To protect the health and well-being of all participants, the activity is scheduled in small groups of 6 people, including minibus transportation and expert English-speaking guide (or the language of your choice).
We will start this Volcano hike in Lanzarote picking you up at your hotel or apartment. Then we will reach this protected landscape on the edge of Timanfaya National Park and from here we will enjoy a trekking tour on a 7 km journey, marveling at the diversity of craters, boilers, lava sea and remains of volcanic ash that characterize the whole place.! We assure you that discovering these amazing places time will fly away!
The route of about 3 hours runs along roads with particular geographical characteristics, where the aridity of the soil and its hot temperatures are evidenced. Some of the points we will pass are the volcano de la Rilla, the Señalo volcano and the caldera de Santa Catalina.
We willalso learn about the diversity of species (vertebrates, reptiles and birds) that inhabit the park, which amount to more than 200, 24 of them being declared protected species. Interesting, right?
Our guide will be responsible for interpreting the environment, narrating the most relevant aspects of its history, and answering all the doubts and concerns that arise during thia volcano hike around Timanfaya.
