We start Rioja Wine Tour from Bilbao with a direct departure to La Rioja, arriving in Haro, the capital of Rioja wine. Here we will visit CVNE, a centenary winery and emblematic of the region. Enjoy a guided tour of its most prominent facilities, including the barrel room designed by the renowned architect Gustave Eiffel and the historic underground cellars (cemetery), culminating with a wine tasting.

Next, we will take a walking tour through the historic center of Haro, strolling through the charming Plaza de la Paz. We will continue our journey to the Barrio de la Estación in Haro, famous for its concentration of centenary wineries, and head to the picturesque medieval village of Laguardia.

In Laguardia, you will enjoy a walk through its picturesque streets followed by a guided tour of a small traditional winery. Here, you will learn about the wine-making processes from a more intimate and familiar perspective.

El transporte fue cómodo y puntuales al momento de la recogida. El guía Estefan fue súper comunicativo y agradable. En todo momento, fue dando detalles de los lugares visitados ( Vitoria y Rioja ). Tuvimos el tiempo para hacernos fotos y comer, aunque nos gustaría un poco más de horas para disfrutar aún más estos sitios. En general, fue fabuloso esta excursión.

Stephane again as the guide so repeated a lot of items already mentioned during the previously tour of San Sebastián, Biarritz & Hondarribia. A bit more time at the winery would have be beneficial for lunch. We could have skipped the visiting to the gift shops, which were unnecessary! Otherwise good tour and interesting especially liked the views from the bus of the region.
