A complete full day to Segóbriga and the Caves of Sanabrio to know the keys to the splendor of this famous city of the Roman Empire, and the importance of the mining of lapis specularis.
Discover the footprint left by the Roman Empire in the province of Cuenca by visiting the Segóbriga Archaeological Park in the municipality of Saelices, one of the Best preserved Roman sites of the Peninsula and declared National Monument in 1931.
With the tour "Tour to Segóbriga from Cuenca" we will first visit these important ruins of the city where the Romans settled in Emperor Augustus , on remnants of Celtic civilization.
It is considered one of the great cities of its time in the Peninsula, coming to house a theater , an amphitheater , great public baths, a basilica , temples , markets , etc., sample of the great splendor that lived the city of Segóbriga in ancient times.
Then we will go to the heart of the Alcarria, where we will know one of the main activities that drove the Segóbriga growth .
